We want you to feel safe starting with us, so our refund terms are simple and fair. The short version: before we start building, you can get all of your setup fee back. Once we have actually built and delivered your preview site, that is real work, so a partial refund applies. After your new site goes live, the job is done and the setup fee is final. Your monthly care plan can be cancelled any time, and you keep your finished site. Here are the details. This policy is provided by WP Goodbye LLC, Creston, Washington, USA.

Before we begin the build: 100% refund of your setup fee

If you change your mind before we have started building your new site, just email us and we will refund your setup fee in full. At that point we have not done the work yet, so there is nothing to charge you for. No hard feelings, and no hoops to jump through.

Once your preview site is delivered: 50% refund of your setup fee

When we deliver your preview site (the private link where you first see your rebuilt site), real work has been done. Building your site is the bulk of the effort, and it happens before you ever see it. So if you decide not to continue after we have delivered your preview, we refund half of your setup fee. This is our way of being fair in both directions: you are not paying full price for a site you are not keeping, and we are not giving away work we have already completed for you.

After your site goes live: no refund of the setup fee

Once your new site is live on your domain, the migration is complete and the setup fee is non-refundable. At that point you have received the finished result you paid for. If anything about the live site is not right, tell us and we will fix it, that is exactly what your care plan is for.

Monthly care-plan fees

Your monthly (or annual) care-plan fee pays for that period of hosting, security, monitoring, backups, and updates, so it is non-refundable once that period has been served. But you are never locked in: you can cancel your care plan at any time. When you cancel, your plan simply does not renew, and we hand over your finished website files so you can take your site with you. Your website is always yours.

How to request a refund or cancel

Just email us at [email protected] and tell us what you would like to do. We will confirm which stage your project is at and take care of the rest promptly. If you have any questions before you decide, ask us first; we are happy to talk it through.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page. Any change applies going forward, not to work already completed under the earlier terms.
