About us
We used to build on WordPress.
Now we help people leave it.
WP Goodbye exists because we watched too many small businesses pay too much for websites that were slow, fragile, and a constant worry. We think there is a better way now, and we build it.
For years we built websites on WordPress, like almost everyone else. It was the standard, and for a long time it was the right call. But we kept seeing the same story: a small business owner, months after launch, stuck with a site that loaded slowly, broke when a plugin updated, got flagged for a security hole, and cost more every year than they ever expected. None of it was work they wanted to do, and none of it was helping them get customers.
Then the ground shifted. AI, used carefully and with a real developer keeping watch, made it possible to build a fast, modern, custom website in a fraction of the time it used to take. The single biggest reason to accept WordPress's downsides, that a hand-built site was too expensive, quietly disappeared. So we stopped recommending WordPress for the kind of sites most small businesses actually have, and built this instead.
Our promise is simple. We take the whole website off your plate. We rebuild it fast, we host it, we keep it safe, and we make your changes when you email us. One flat monthly price, and you never think about it again. If you ever leave, you take your finished site with you. That is the whole company.
What we believe
We tell you the truth
If your site is not a fit, we say so. If a job belongs elsewhere, we point you there. We would rather lose the sale than sell you the wrong thing.
A human checks every build
AI does the heavy lifting, but an experienced developer reviews every site before it goes live. Speed of the new way, judgement of the old one.
A real company, in a real place
We are WP Goodbye LLC, based in Creston, Washington. Not a faceless platform. You can email us and a person answers.
Do not take our word for it. Test this page.
This website was built exactly the way we would build yours. Run a speed test on it, then run one on your current site. The difference is the whole pitch.
